During RECKruitment each year, we fill a new class of probates to add to the club’s existing member base. Read below for more details about what it’s like during your probateship in Reck Club.
A probate, short for probationary member, is someone who has been in Reck Club for less than a full year.
The only true difference between probates and members is that members have full voting rights and probates do not. Other than that, probates can do anything and everything members can, including voicing their opinions in sessions that require a vote! Probates are never treated any differently, just because they are a probate!
Probateship is intended to serve as a learning and training period for our newest Reck Clubbers to see the inner and outer workings of the club. We believe that by having this year long period, probates are able to really appreciate just how special it is to be a full member of Reck Club. Probates also come in with an entire class (usually around ~25 people total). Each probate class gets to experience being new to RRC together and get to know each other really well.
